Holbein Meltz Pencil Blender Pen
Conveniently blend, blur, soften and mix HOCP with MELTZ, a water based blending thinner in a new double-ended pen! Blending, gradations or brushstroke like effects can be achieved by using MELTZ on an area already covered with HOCP. While some colours are more difficult to mix or blend, colour mixing is best done when HOCP has been applied in a cross-hatch or layered pattern. MELTZ pen has brush and a bullet double ended tips.
Drawn with Holbein Artist’s coloured Pencils on Phoenix Studio Watercolour Pad Cold pressed, acid-free 180g watercolour paper in 20 sheet pads.
Holbein pencils are Ideal to draw, blend and overpaint. The pencils feature an oil-based medium to hard 3.8mm thick lead core. Made from a blend of wax, fats and oils, these pencils are classed as a soft oil coloured pencil. They contain a high grade pigment which helps ensure little pigment fading or light discolouration. They work well on any kind of paper with excellent covering and blending capabilities.

Holbein Watercolour Workshops
